This drive occurred twice. The first one was so twisted and surreal, we re-attempted it with camera in hand.

It included:

• pumpkin fields as far as the eye could see
• a shanty town built on the side of the river from wood scraps and tires, complete with abandoned ships and a working school.
• A couple of BC Ferries parked in what initially appeared to be a field.
• A mall shaped like Disneyland - I was too flabbergasted both times to get a photo.
• A plastic pig that resembled my MIL's ex-buddy, Paco.
• A tunnel that ran underneath the Fraser River. And the Fraser River...
